Dance City Workshop with Year 8 Students!

Oxclose Community Academy Welcomes Sophie from Dance City!

Our Year 8 students had an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of Contemporary Dance with Sophie, a Postgraduate Course lecturer from Dance City. 

The workshop was a dynamic exploration of contemporary techniques, including shift, floor work and improvisation. Students embraced the challenge, unleashing their creativity and developing their confidence in movement. It was amazing to see their energy and enthusiasm shine through every step and sequence! 

A huge thank you to Sophie for sharing her expertise and inspiring our budding dancers. We’re excited to see how these new skills will influence their future performances!
